## ---------------------------------------- DEVELOPER COMMENTARY ---------------------------------------- ##

DaxCabinDevcommentary1= Hey there player!
The setting you just enabled makes these white signs appear. If you're playing through this map for the first time, I recommend you disable it.
These signs will give you insight on how this map was made.
Enjoy!
- Dax

DaxCabinDevcommentary2= I was really excited when I got these switch gates working. It took waaay too much effort.
These gates don't use the default "switch gate" entity, but rather it uses a "flag gate container", which is an entity that allows you to turn anything into a switch gate.
The switch gates in this room are a combination of flag gate containers and decals. The base of the switch gates are also made from decals, which are solid because of the Decal Registry's "Solid" property.

DaxCabinDevcommentary3= This was by far one of my favourite berries to add. The cherry on top was the fact that you had to move the small block before wavedashing, which made this berry a bit of a puzzle.
The deco here also took a while; about 5 hours of tinkering.
The waterfalls here gave me inspiration to add waterfalls in other parts of the map, which probably would have resulted in the storyline not being implemented.

DaxCabinDevcommentary4= The idea for this berry was for the player to go exploring.
This also makes the room very fun to explore, because who knows what kinds of secrets you'd fine here! lol

DaxCabinDevcommentary5= I decided to use these "aero blocks" to get the player back to where they're supposed to be, rather than just using a generic bubbler berry.
Plus it fits the theme, so that's an added bonus!
These entities also give me the ability to add as many nodes as I like, meaning I can create all sorts of wild paths.

DaxCabinDevcommentary6= This room was first intended to be a small room, but after some expanding, I realised that I could make this room a nice place for the player to chill in (and a cool place at that >:3c).
The original idea was to have a few small waterfalls and nothing much, but it became this massive room. How many hours did I spend on this?
5? 10? 15?
lol idk

DaxCabinDevcommentary7=
This is where I crushed DarkCoreX in the Daily Dose of Celeste ARG.
I've left this room here as an easter egg, because why not!? :D

DaxCabinDevcommentary8= I'm not even going to say how much work it took EllaTAS and I to retexture this stubborn resort lamp.
And the thing's still half-broken. :(
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

[DaxCabinSign]
{# bc9a76} This waterfall was once used by our ancestors as a source of freshwater.

[DaxCabinSign]
{# bc9a76} Over the course of 162 years, salt from an abandoned salt mine called "Slate Hollows" contaminated the water, making it unsafe to drink.

[DaxCabinSign]
{# bc9a76} The town of Nimbuspire has started building an underground moat around the mine to stop any more contamination while also redirecting the saltwater to Driftwood Harbour.

[DaxCabinSign]
{# bc9a76} This project is expected to finish in late 2028.

[DaxCabinSign]
{# bc9a76} Although a bit dirty, they get their water from recently constructed wells that are almost 500 meters deep and 75 meters wide.

[DaxCabinSign]
{# bc9a76} The residents can't wait for their water to become fresh again.

Dax_cabin_sign_fish=

[DaxCabinSign]
{# bc9a76} The creatures you see to the bottom left are {# 34d3d3}Lunar Fish{# bc9a76}.

[DaxCabinSign]
{# bc9a76} Their diet consists of insects, algae, seagrass, and sunlight. They photosynthesise, but it isn't strong enough to maintain life.

[DaxCabinSign]
{# bc9a76} They are very capable at breaking down lunar soil with their enzymes, even though (despite their name) they did not come from the moon.

[DaxCabinSign]
{# 34d3d3}Lunar fish{# bc9a76} are often scared of humans and other animals.

[DaxCabinSign]
{# bc9a76} They can achieve flight. As of today we still don't know why.
