buffer1=Log #1 - The "Buffer", I think?
Normally, a dash done just before recovering your dash lets you dash again immediately.
I call this little trick a "buffer"! I think it'll come in handy.
Because the next dash happens instantly, "buffers" can get you through tight gaps and other tough sequences.
Here for example, timing your dash just before hitting the spring will get you through the gap every time!
This is just the beginning of my findings, there has to be more to discover!

rdj1=Log #4 - Reverse Jumps are Real!
Another new technique! If you jump towards these blocks as you exit them, you can perform a reverse jump!
This steadies your height while reducing your sideways movement, which is perfect for avoiding those spikes!
This will be a huge help in getting to the bottom of this place, or should I say, the top? I'll find out soon enough.

rdj2=Log #7 - Diagonal Reverse Jumps!?
A reverse jump can also be done diagonally! I didn't think that was even possible.
This trick reduces your sideways movement even more while giving you more height than a straight reverse jump.
The best part? You don't even have to hold diagonally the whole time!
As long as you face the general direction of the block as you jump, the reverse jump will work the same.
Who knew jumping backwards could be the way forward?

dreamGrab=Log #12 - Tricky Climbing!
Climbing these blocks is trickier than I thought.
If I jump before I start climbing on these blocks, I end up doing a reverse jump instead of the climb jump I want.
I've found that it helps to do your climb jump after you start grabbing onto them, which I guess makes sense.
Man, these blocks are so particular...

story1=Log #16 - Starting the Adventure (for real this time)
If you’re reading this… I guess these notes are finally being put to good use.
Speaking of, these blocks are extraordinary! They react to dashing, jumping, and climbing!
I’ve been experimenting nonstop ever since I got here.
Maybe, just maybe, they can show me the way out of here.

dzipperRdjCancel=Log #826 - Zippers... Finally Something New
The rooms in this place only continue to get larger...
From now on, I'll have to use zippers to make more progress.
Thankfully, these zippers still work with reverse jumps! Not only that, but the zipper's speed applies to the reverse jumps as well!
Something I found is that a reverse jump done against the zipper's movement will cancel your sideways speed.
This applies to both straight and diagonal reverse jumps.
I've never had this much control before. It's fascinating.

dzipperGrab=Log #830 - Tricky Climbing Continued
When doing a reverse jump after grabbing a zipper, remember to stop climbing before doing the reverse jump!
Continuing to hold on gives you a boosted climb jump instead of a reverse jump (unless the reverse jump is done immediately).
So I can either let go as I jump or time the jump in advance. Neither one is easy, but both work.

dzipperClimb=Log #838 - My Arms Hate Me
Turns out, climb jumps done while moving up a zipper don't activate it!
Maybe all the climbing I've done to get here wasn't for nothing.
This seems to apply to any kind of upward movement, like climb jumps, wall jumps, stuff like that.
From what I've noticed, if the zipper still activates, the climb jump was probably too late.
That or these blocks have a mind of their own.

dzipperJump=Log #851 - A Modification for My Sanity
Normally, jumping immediately off a zipper prevents you from getting its boost.
That's no good, so I made a slight modification that preserves the boost from the zippers!
This means you can jump immediately as you land on a zipper and still get launched! It works on the sides of the zipper as well!
Could this be what I've been missing?

story2=Log #852 - Another New Adventure...
I’ve been here for years, but I know the chamber is real. I've seen it in my dreams.
Static blocks weren’t enough, so I rebuilt them into zippers.
Now I know what it means to have meaning. I’ve moved forward one failure at a time.
The end is getting closer — it’s too late to stop now.

story3=Log #1239 - Farewell
This is it. The chamber’s calibrated, the zippers aligned.
I’ve gone through countless iterations, but I don’t know if my body will hold.
But this was never just about going back.
It was about proving I could build something real — something that mattered… even if I was the one they chose to hide away.
If you’re here… I don’t know if you’ll remember me — or if they ever told you about me.
But if you make it out…
Tell them I went Supersonic.
Tell them I never stopped.
