TheosFables_0_Lobbies_1_LibraryLobby=Theo's Library
# Ideas in general
  # Maybe get to the library from the hotel, so like a 3a playthrough but after the elevator
  # there is different dialogue for theo and then you follow theo through the vents until you get to the library
  # and that unlocks the actual lobby? Or that itself is the lobby?
  # Also the lobby needs to look like a library of course
  # No heartside because it makes no sense storywise I think? Unless theo says something like "And I decided to write
  # my own story by mixing all of these together"
  # In each level theo uses small dialogue boxes (the ones that don't stop gp) in order to tell each of the fables as
  # the player is playing through them
  # Hopefully proxdxd03 makes one leitmotif with simple variations of the songs to make something cool with the music
  # I trust andytampan completely with the decoration
  # Some cutscenes for lore reasons probably, like at the start of Belling The Cat or The Fox and the Crow to contextualize the player

# Ideas for Map
  # The idea is that the deco + music in the second half is much more dreamy than the first because...
  # well the protagonist is daydreaming about different stuff they'll get with money from the Milkmaid
  # Also I was thinking that in each dream room it would be cool to have a decal/decoration/something for each of the
  # things that the protagonist would want to buy
  # Also maybe a fake animation heart at some point because the pail breaks, no pail at the last room where you get the actual heart?
  # You start near a barn or smth to make sense with the milk stuff
TheosFables_MM_Start1=The idea is maybe a starting cutsecne where the milk is gotten from a cow, a barn and stuff like that
TheosFables_MM_Dream1=This is where the story goes, the player daydreams about what they'll get with the milk and money
TheosFables_MM_End1=The milk crashes down and the player ends up with nothing

# Ideas for Map
  # The idea is that there are 3 gp areas, not as long as Milkmaid. First is from rat town or whatever and through the walls
  # Then the rat goes into the living room going around lasers that the cat plays with or whatever
  # Finally the rat jumsp on top of the cat and has 2/3 rooms on top of the cat, the final one on its head.
  # Hopefully reskin seekers as fleas or smth like that on top of the cat
TheosFables_BTC_Falling1=This room might have extra gameplay or not.
TheosFables_BTC_Falling2=The story idea is that before you were in the walls and ceiling and this room you fall on top of the cat.
TheosFables_BTC_Falling3=So that now you go on top of the cat towards the head to bell the cat.
TheosFables_BTC_End1=This is back in the rat town, probably a cutscene showing that no rat risked their life.

  # The idea is that you are the fox that stole the cheese from the crow, make it so that if the cheese (theo) touches
  # the crow you loose (hopeefully no extra code).
  # Also reskin badeline to a crow.
  # First few rooms of gameplay involve the falling cheese, player catching and rethrowing it while hitting badeline
  # Then it turns to horizontal rooms where you escape from badeline attacks until you reach your burrow or smth like that

PrologueStart=
[THEO right normal] {~}Heyyyyy{/~} {+MADELINE}, so happy of you to come back here.
[THEO right thinking] Do you remember when I was escaping from the creepy ghost through the vents? Well I actually found a hidden room in there...
[MADELINE left normal] Oh really? What did you find?
[THEO right normal] Well, you know there are all these books laying around inside? I found a library - probably where guests could read something...
[THEO right excited] But I've done something interesting to them.
You beat me to the end of Golden Ridge, even though I should've exited the Resort earlier, well I took some creative liberties and...
[THEO right yolo] Rewrote some of the books!
[THEO right thinking] I wanted to write a bit more but I felt a few chills on my back so I exited without writing all I wanted.
[THEO right normal] I'll probably finish writing now, now that Oshiro has left the mountain for a vacation.

PrologueEnd=
[MADELINE left surprised] {!}THEO!?{/!} How did you get here before me?
[THEO right nailedit] Well... you know, I am one with the vents.
[MADELINE left deadpan] I literally took the shortest path possible and didn't see you on the way here.
[THEO right serious] I'm just built different.
[MADELINE left determined] You won't tell me how you got here before me, will you?
  [THEO right serious] {0.3} . {0.3} . {0.3} . {0.5} No.

MilkmaidStart=
[THEO right normal] This is a story about a Milkmaid named {+MADELINE}.

MilkmaidStart2=
[THEO right normal] After a very good harvest the cows had eaten well and produced a lot of milk.

MilkmaidStart3=
[THEO right normal] This meant she could go into town and sell the milk for a huge profit.

MilkmaidStory1=
[THEO right normal] But the path hadn't been mantained in a very long time...

MilkmaidStory2=
[THEO right normal] This meant she had to go through many of the overgrown plants.

MilkmaidStory3=
[THEO right normal] But the money would be worth it!

MilkmaidStory4=
[THEO right normal] {+MADELINE} would be able to even buy some eggs from the cow.

MilkmaidStory5=
[THEO right normal] From these eggs some beautiful chickens would hatch.

MilkmaidStory6=
[THEO right normal] All of these chickens would grow nice and big...

MilkmaidStory7=
[THEO right normal] And she could sell all of them for an even larger profit!

MilkmaidStory8=
[THEO right normal] With all that money she'd be able to get a nice dress to wear for the fair.

MilkmaidStory9=
[THEO right normal] Oh how pretty she'd look. She nodded at the thought...

MilkmaidStory10=
[THEO right normal] ... causing all of {+MADELINE}'s milk to spill!

BellingTheCatStory1=
[THEO right normal] There were some mice living peacefully in a house. They ate as much as they could fill themselves and hid within the walls.

BellingTheCatStory2=
[THEO right normal] But the family that owned the house didn't want them to eat their food and they got a cat.

BellingTheCatStory3=
[THEO right normal] This cat was quick, agile and worst of all hungry for mice.

BellingTheCatStory4=
[THEO right normal] The mice had to decide what to do so that they would stop getting eaten by the cat.

BellingTheCatStory5=
[THEO right normal] And the brilliant idea of putting a bell on the cat was brought up.

BellingTheCatStory6=
[THEO right normal] With the bell they'd know where the cat was and when they had to run.

BellingTheCatStory7=
[THEO right normal] They needed one brave mouse to carry the bell towards the cat and put the bell on it.

BellingTheCatStory8=
[THEO right normal] This mouse would need to travel throughout the house to catch the cat by surprise.

BellingTheCatStory9=
[THEO right normal] And so it fell from the ceiling and on top of the cat.

BellingTheCatStory10=
[THEO right normal] But the cat had lice on top of it and they attacked the mouse.

BellingTheCatStory11=
[THEO right normal] The mouse persevered and brought the bell towards the head of the cat.

BellingTheCatStory12=
[THEO right normal] Alas, this was all in the imagination of the mice as none of them were brave enough to risk their lives.

MercuryWoodmanStory1=
[THEO right normal] {+MADELINE} was a strong lumberjack, if a bit forgetful at times.

MercuryWoodmanStory2=
[THEO right normal] One time the lumberjack lost their axe in the forest....

MercuryWoodmanStory3=
[THEO right normal] ...but mercury, from inside a lake, gave them an axe back!

MercuryWoodmanStory4=
[THEO right normal] There was an issue, the axe wasn't theirs.

MercuryWoodmanStory5=
[THEO right normal] They owned a wooden axe and mercury gave them a golden axe.

MercuryWoodmanStory6=
[THEO right normal] They asked for their axe and mercury gave them a silver one.

MercuryWoodmanStory7=
[THEO right normal] While it would make {+MADELINE} rich, it wasn't their trusty axe.

MercuryWoodmanStory8=
[THEO right normal] So they asked for their axe once again.

MercuryWoodmanStory9=
[THEO right normal] And so they finally got their trusty wooden axe back.

MercuryWoodmanStory10=
[THEO right normal] Awarding the lumberjack's honesty, they were gifted the other two axes.

MercuryWoodmanStory11=
[THEO right normal] With their trusty wooden axe they felt much more comfortable handling the other axes

MercuryWoodmanStory12=
[THEO right normal] And so they went back home with their three axes.

TheosFablesToBeContinued=
And so, my stories come to an end... for now.
Now you can order the books and see your statistics.
As well as see the stories that I haven't rewritten yet.
I do think that story translations are interesting.
  But that could be contested.
  To be continued...
