tirednwired_hyper=
To perform a quick hyperdash, dash down-diagonally while on the ground then immediately jump.
Swap blocks have two states: launching and retracting.
Regular hyperdashes on swap blocks are useful when you don't want a swap block's launching momentum or when you want to keep its retracting momentum.

tirednwired_exthyper=
To perform an extended hyperdash, dash down-diagonally, wait until your hair flashes white (as Celeste would teach it; alternatively, wait for ten to fourteen frames), then jump.
Extended hyperdashes are useful when you need an extra dash to reach somewhere.

tirednwired_wavedash=
Wavedashes are functionally the same as extended hyperdashes and both are performed similarly, but the former has the advantage of beginning a hyperdash while in the air.

tirednwired_super=
To perform a quick superdash, dash straight ahead while on the ground then immediately jump.
Superdashes allow you to jump with around the same speed as a regular dash.
They may not provide as much speed as hyperdashes, but they provide more height.
As it appears, you can pass this demonstration with a regular rightward dash.
Not all the technique demonstrations in the trial are adequately forced, so you may be able to "cheese" some of them.
But where's the fun in that?

tirednwired_extsuper=
Superdashes can also be extended.

tirednwired_wallbounce=
To perform a wallbounce, dash upward next to a wall then jump.
Wallbounces can get you much more height than a regular jump.
Note: Even when your dash ends, you are still able to wallbounce for an additional five frames afterwards.

tirednwired_fastfall=
To perform fastfalling, simply hold downward while in the air.

tirednwired_fastbubble=
To perform fastbubbling, simply press your dash button while inside a bubble in contrast to waiting for the bubble to dash by itself.
Things to note: Bubble dashing does not affect swap blocks whatsoever.
You can also perform superdashes, hyperdashes, wavedashes, and wallbounces with bubbles.
Even outside of a requirement to be fast, fastbubbling allows a sense of more control over how you navigate.

tirednwired_welcometoadv=
Congratulations on passing the {#FFFF3F}intermediate{#} stage!
Welcome to the {#3FFF3F}advanced{#} stage.

{anchor bottom}
[MADELINE left sad]

tirednwired_crouchjump=
To perform a crouched jump, simply hold downward while on the ground (crouch) then jump.
This allows you to squeeze through tight spaces without having to dash.
Note: The moment you stop moving upwards after a crouched jump, you leave your crouched state.
This doesn't happen if there's something solid right above you.

tirednwired_crouchclimb=
To perform crouched climbing, start with a crouched jump then climbjump.

tirednwired_neutraljump1=
To perform neutral jumping, walljump without holding any direction.
Neutral jumping is useful for reaching ledges that might uncomfortable to reach with regular walljumps.
It also allows scaling walls without usage of stamina or climbing surfaces covered in ice.

tirednwired_neutraljump2=
To effectively clear these walls...
{#7F7F7F}(pause){#}
...What? Anyways, move towards the walls right after neutral jumping off of them.

tirednwired_reversetech=
Hyperdashes, wavedashes, and superdashes can be reversed.
Dash, switch your direction, then jump in that direction.
Note: Wallbounces can't be reversed. Sorry!

tirednwired_midairsuper=
Like wavedashes, superdashes can also start in the air!

tirednwired_hyperbhop=
To perform a hyperdash bunnyhop, begin with a quick hyperdash then follow with a second jump.
A hyperdash bunnyhop will you give you almost the same speed as a regular hyperdash and the ability to jump with regular height.

tirednwired_ultra1=
To perform a regular ultradash, start with an extended hyperdash or a wavedash then dash down-diagonally again after jumping.
What should happen is when you land on the wider platform here, you gather a boost in speed.
This can happen if your down-diagonal dash ends before landing.
If you land before the dash ends, you'll instead meet the conditions for a wavedash.
Ultradashes can vary in timing depending on tile height and the size of the platforms.
The ultradash in front of you is the height of four tiles; it won't be possible to accidentally wavedash.
Note: Do not buffer jumps while performing ultradashes.
Otherwise, you could end up jumping after only having touched the ground rather than landing.
Again, landing is what gives you a boost in speed.

tirednwired_ultra2=
Here's an ultradash with the height of three tiles, beginning with a reverse extended hyperdash; don't ultradash too early!

tirednwired_ultra3=
Hyperdash bunnyhop into a two-tile-height ultradash.

tirednwired_bhop=
Consecutive jumping, known as bunnyhopping, allows you to maintain speed better than simply running forward.
Bunnyhopping can be useful for getting to far places that can't exactly be reached with regular hyperdashing and whatnot.
This demonstration starts with a hyperdash; don't buffer the first jump.

to theovator, neutral drop him (hold down and let go), dash up and regrab him
ez

tirednwired_cornerboost=
cornerboosts!! gotta love 'em
dash into the very top of a wall and climbjump
cornerboosts basically work because of a thing in the game
if you try jumping over a wall and you sort of graze the corner when you don't mean to
if you're at a high enough point, the game won't completely negate your movement
the cornerboosts here are setup with bubbles, except for the last one

tirednwired_5jump=
5jumps are done by either climbjumping then climbjumping again or neutral jumping until you're at a necessary height then climbjumping
5jumps are named as such because they allow you to jump over like five tiles of spikes
5jumps can also allow you to grab ledges that are {~}just{/~} a bit too high

tirednwired_cumpcumpcumpcump=
cornerjumps wooo!!!!!!!!
newsflash you can jump on corners that have spikes near/on 'em
you have two hitboxes: your hitbox that lets you walk and jump on stuff is a little bigger than the hitbox where hazards can kill you
spike hitboxes aren't really the biggest
these cornerjumps are setup with walls, just grab 'em, fall down then jump on them corners
tip: for corners completely covered with spikes, it can help to hold forward a {~}little{/~} before jumping
since spikes don't kill you if you're moving away from 'em
c'mon haven't you played "spikejumps vs cornerjumps" :)

[MADELINE left sad]
I have to get out of here ASAP.

tirednwired_chainedultra1=
Ultradashes can be chained to build more speed.
To perform an ultradash chain, start with a regular ultradash, jump, then dash down-diagonally again.
Although the previous ultradashes in the trial have often started with extended hyperdashes or wavedashes, those techniques aren't necessarily part of what makes an ultradash.
The following down-diagonal dashes are what allow you to gain speed whenever you land on the ground.
Technically, any ordinary down-diagonal dash is an ultradash!

tirednwired_chainedultra2=
Again, ultradashes can vary in timing based on the heights and sizes of the platforms.
Ultradash chains can take on many different forms.
The ultradash chain in front of you begins with a three-tile-height ultra, then two, then one, then ends with a four-tile.

tirednwired_groundedultra1=
Grounded ultras are performed similarly to ultradashes, but they remain almost entirely on the ground and have different functionality.
Grounded ultras can grant a lot more speed than regular hyperdashes.
Since grounded ultras are basically down-diagonal dashes that hit the ground before said dashes end, the technique by itself can't be used to build up speed, but rather maintain it.
The grounded ultra in this demonstration is done starting on a swap block as an attempt to force the technique.

tirednwired_groundedultra2=
During a grounded ultra, grabbing something (like a {+THEO} crystal or a jellyfish) or hitting the top of something (like a pufferfish or a snowball) before the dash ends lets you keep the grounded ultra's speed.

tirednwired_crouchdash=
Crouched dashing is merely when you dash in a crouched state.
Crouched dashing is useful for squeezing through tight spaces in the air.
To perform a crouched dash, more commonly known as a "demodash", begin a downward dash and immediately switch to a different direction during the freeze frames that occur before the dash.
...Well, that used to be how you would perform a crouched dash.
At a certain point in time, there came the existence of a setting that allows you to easily perform crouched dashes without the complication of quickly switching directions.
Please check your options menu for the ability to bind a "crouched dash button".

tirednwired_demohyper=
Turns out wavedashes aren't the only technique that can start a hyperdash in the air!
To perform a "demohyper", crouch-dash straight ahead then jump.

tirednwired_coyotebubble=
Whenever you walk off an edge, the ability to jump as if you were still on the ground remains for five frames.
This ability is still granted when you enter a bubble right after moving off the ground.
Since you are able to jump with these frames, you can also do quick hyperdashes and superdashes with them.
Once you enter these bubbles, immediately perform those techniques.
Note: Do not jump into the bubbles; jumping negates the ability to jump five frames after leaving ground.

tirednwired_wallboost=
To perform a wallboost, climbjump without holding any direction then turn around (specifically, within a period of eleven frames after the climbjump).
Wallboosts are useful for getting up spaces such as these.
Climbjumps normally consume your stamina; four climbjumps in a row can completely drain your overall stamina.
Since you're not climbjumping forward performing a wallboost, turning around will add back whatever stamina was used.
The turnaround essentially turns the climbjump into a walljump; this phenomenon was originally Celeste's way of making walljumps more lenient.

tirednwired_overclock=
To perform an overclock, start a wallboost on the ground.
Climbjumping while on the ground doesn't eat stamina, but wallboosting in this manner will add on stamina that wasn't lost in the first place.
As a result, you will end up with more stamina than normal. Overclocking can render your overall stamina to be worth five climbjumps rather than four.

tirednwired_cornerkick=
You can jump on the lower regions of walls even if you're not coming from in front of them, but rather coming from under them. This is known as cornerkicking.
Doing this can allow you to jump off spiked walls as well. To reiterate what's been said before, spikes don't kill you if you're moving away from them.
These behaviors also make wallbounces on spiked walls possible.
Note: For wallbounces on spiked walls, the upward dash must end before reaching the wall so you can move left or right before wallbouncing.
The first cornerkick is setup for you with a wall.

tirednwired_spikejump=
This takes the rule of "spikes are harmless if you're moving away" to another level.
What's being demonstrated here are known as "spikejumps"; jumping on any part of a spiked surface.
This demonstration is performed as follows: Grab the setup wall, dash upright, jump, dash right, jump, wallbounce, demohyper, jump off the last swap block.
Note: The hitboxes of any hazard attached to a currently moving object lag behind by a frame.
Because of this, you can move into the spiked surface of a moving object and often manage a spikejump without having to move in the same direction as the object.

tirednwired_dashbounce=
To perform a dashbounce, dash upward, let the dash end, wallbounce, then immediately dash again (specifically, within a two-frame period after the wallbounce).
Since wallbounce jumps last longer than dashes, the temporarily-canceled wallbounce will still take effect after the second dash.

tirednwired_wherethehellistheo=

(you were supposed to restrain him well)
I'm sorry, but I've said prior that I don't have the suitable strength to effectively tie an adult human male to a chair!
Besides, why must I be tasked to do everything that needs to be done? Why can't it be a joint effort?
If you really want to establish the swap block license as a worldwide requirement, wouldn't it be best to have has many hands in the project as possible?
(aw you don't like doing everything you're told to do huh)
(why the hell be an assistant then)
(you're not really good at this anyway why even call you assistant at this point)
That is not my name.
You know what? I've decided I refuse to partake in this any longer.

trust me it's awesome
