FW0DPAYPHONE=
[MADELINE_PHONE left distracted]
Hi, {+THEO}. I wanted to talk about something...
[THEO right excited]
{+MADELINE}, i am happy to hear from you? How are you?
[MADELINE left sadder]
You heard the news...
The meteor is going to hit the moon soon.
[MADELINE left distracted]
I realized that I never gave a proper goodbye to the bird and...
[THEO right worried]
{+MADELINE}, don't even think about it, you know how dangerous it is!
Where are you right now?
[MADELINE left sad]
The Celeste mountain melted entirely...
If there's something that can be done, only I can do it.
The bird is a part of {+GRANNY}, it has to know how to fix this!
[THEO right worried]
{+MADELINE} this isn't safe.
I am worried for you.
[MADELINE left determined]
I'll take care of myself, I promise!
If it becomes unbearable, I'll turn back.

FW0DBADELINETALK1=
[BADELINE right worried]
{+MADELINE}, I don't support this.
[BADELINE right yell]
We have only a few hours before it happens.
Our dashing power is gone.
Are you sure you want to do this?
[MADELINE left determined]
...
Yes, I have a plan, just believe in me.

FW0Dgameplan=
[BADELINE right worried]
{+MADELINE}, what plan do you have in mind?
[MADELINE left distracted]
...
[MADELINE left sad]
Yesterday I met a magician, and I exchanged my dashing power for the ability to switch temperture of any environment.
[BADELINE right yell]
You did what?
You sold your dashing power without even discussing it with me?
[MADELINE left determined]
The magician said that the only way to stop apocalypse is to freeze the moon entirely before the meteor hits it.

[BADELINE right angry]
{+MADELINE}, you didn't tell me any of this when climbing up there!
You were lying to yourself!
[MADELINE left distracted]
I wasn't lying, I just wanted you to support me.
[BADELINE right yell]
{+MADELINE}, at what point will you stop sacrificing yourself for other people?
How do you expect me to help you with the plan you didn't tell me in the first place?
[MADELINE right panic]
I just want me and the world to survive.
I won't be bear seeing my close friends and family die!
[MADELINE right angry]
I am trying to help everyone survive, not only myself!

FW0Dhelpinghand=
[BADELINE left angry]
It's so hot here!
[MADELINE right sad]
I am not asking you to help me, I am just asking you to be on my side here.
I can take care of myself, but I want you to understand why I am doing this.
[BADELINE left simple_sigh]
Fine.
[BADELINE left worried]
I support you, I am just worried for you.
[BADELINE left normal]
I'll be watching you to see if you are okay.

{# #dda0dd}{~}This map introduces holdable puffers!{/~}{#}
{~}This cutscene acts like a tutorial to them so I highly reccomend not skipping it.{/~}
{!}Holdable puffers can only grabbed from the top or from the bottom part while exploding.{/!}
When held, they are as heavy as the theo crystal, and when exploded they respawn in 0.5 seconds.
In this room, you need to grab 5 jump refills, get to the touch switch with 1-2 jumps to spare.
After that, get off the falling platform and fast fall to grab the fish from the top, drop it next to the wall booster (elevator.
Then explode of it jumping on the second fish, exploding of the second one and getting to the top with the last jump remaining.
{big}Good luck!{/big}

FW0Dholdablelfishintro2=

{# #dda0dd}{~}When you neutral drop holdable puffers, they give you upwards boost!{/~}{# }
Although that makes Theovators impossible, you can still do normal regrabs with them with precise timings.
In this room, after getting the waterboost to the holdable puffer, pick it up, grab 6 jump refills and neutral drop it to get an upwards boost!
Then you'll need to just activate all the switches and loop around to get to the end of the room.
{# #dda0dd}{~}Happy neutral-puffer-dropping!{/~}{#}

{+MROSHIRO}, what are you doing here?
[OSHIRO left normal]
Do we know each other?
[OSHIRO left serious]
I really don't remember seeing you or any other dead souls here.
[OSHIRO left drama]
They left me here alone!
[MADELINE right sad]
Are you okay?
[OSHIRO left nervous]
What is another dead soul doing here?
[MADELINE right sad]
I am not a dead soul, I came here to save the moon.
[OSHIRO left serious]
Did the magician send you here?
[OSHIRO left drama]
Poor girl.
[MADELINE right normal]
Do you know the magician too?
[OSHIRO left serious]
He's the reason i am here.
[OSHIRO left drama]
Traitor!
[MADELINE right sadder]
I feel sorry for you.
Can you tell me what happened?
[OSHIRO left nervous]
The magician turns humans into dead souls by slowly taking away their sanity!
[OSHIRO left drama]
Did you make a deal with him?
[MADELINE right sadder]
Yeah...
[OSHIRO left sidesuspicious]
Are you crazy?

[OSHIRO left drama]
Making a deal with a magician is a one way ticket to insanity!
[OSHIRO left normal]
If you don't do anything, you'll lose control over yourself and become like me.
A crazy man with no hope.
[MADELINE right sad]
I can't stop now.
In order to save myself I have to save everyone.
I agreed to this, and it's my duty.

I feel the negative and evil energy coming from this place...
[MADELINE left sad]
It seems like this was not a good idea...
But I need to keep going.
It's not like we have a way back after all.

I am the magician!
And by agreeing to this deal, you let me inside your soul.
Now I can finally fully steal all your powers and even stronger!
[MADELINE left distracted]
Why are you doing this?
I thought you are here to help people.

I was never planning to help you, okay?
Humans are raw pieces of garbage that needs to be destroyed.

FW0DGYM=
Welcome to the gym!

FW0DGYM1=
Stamina Management

FW0DGYM1neutrals=
[GRANNY left normal]
Jumping off a wall without pressing any horizontal direction results in you doing a neutral jump.
By moving back to the wall and doing another neutral jump you can gain distance consequently.
Neutral jumps don't consume stamina and can be performed without having any stamina whatsoever.

FW0DGYM1grab=
[GRANNY left normal]
Quickly pressing and releasing the grab button allows Madeline to reach higher distances before the stamina runs out.
You can use that to save stamina in places where you can't neutral.
When doing spike jumps, you can save stamina by doing a neutral 2.5 tiles below the spike.
It aligns the jump perfectly.
The last stamina saving tech is wallboosting.
Wallboosting is when you turn a climbjump into a walljump.
To perform it, press away from the wall after the climbjump.
This refunds the stamina you used for the climbjump.

FW0DGYM2=
Holdables Tech

FW0DGYM2jellies=
[GRANNY left normal]
Jellyfish don't allow you to grab walls, but you can still jump away from walls as usual.
If you press up while holding a jellyfish you will be able to neutral jump it.
You can neutral drop jellyfish by pressing down just as you release the grab button.
If you neutral drop the jellyfish and do a quick climbjump of the wall you can scale walls with it.
This can be used in cases where you can't neutral jump or you need a boost upwards.
You can also freely pick up and use jump refills when holding jellyfish.
If you neutral drop 2 jellyfish and pick them up at the right time you can go up with them infinitely.
This is called a jelly ladder and it is used when you need to go up with a jelly when there are no walls that can help you nearby.
Finally, when holding a jellyfish, you can hit the dash switches on the ground without having a dash.

FW0DGYM2puffers=
[GRANNY left normal]
Holdable pufferfish are as heavy as a Theo Crystal and act like normal pufferfish after being thrown.
You can always pick it up from the top, or from the side only while it is respawning.
Be careful: if the fish fully touches the solid while being held, it will explode.
You can neutral jump with them, use jump refills with them normally.
You can also hit the dash switches on the ground while holding it just like you did with a jellyfish.
If you neutral drop a holdable pufferfish, you will get a big boost upwards and won't get the holdable back.
Because of that, doing a holdable ladder or a holdable climb won't work.
In this map holdable puffers or jellyfish cannot be held in bubbles.

FW0DGYM3=
Bubble tech

FW0DGYM3intro=
[GRANNY left normal]
You can wallbounce, hyper, super, reverse super/hyper, cornerboost and moonboost with bubbles just like you do with a normal dash.
The timings on reverse superdash and hyperdash with bubbles are a less lenient than normal ones, as you can input the reverse jump too early.
When doing a moonboosted hyper or normal hypers, make sure to demohyper and not do a normal hyper

FW0DGYM3coyote=
[GRANNY left normal]
You can do bubble tech without any ground if you have coyote frames.
Using coyote frames you will be able to make normal, moonbooster or even liftboosted super or hyper.
The most common way of getting coyote frames are leaving the ground, exiting a dream block or destroying a core block.
Core hypers and supers will give you a massive liftboost, however they are trickier to time than any other type of coyote super/hyper.
Make sure to aim for the hyper/super when the block gets destroyed, as you will have a few freeze frames to perform the tech.

FW0DGYM4=
Spike tech

FW0DGYM4intro=
[GRANNY left normal]
You can jump of a small hitbox of the spike on the side, even if the wall is spiked too.
Doing that is called a spike jump and they are used to get extra height or get through a lot of spikes without dashing.
In order to do that, there are multiple setups you can use.
If the side is not spiked, you can climb to the very top, do a climbjump and when you are about to hit the corner, jump.
This will make you boost from the corner and give you extra height.
There is a harder way to achieve the same jump but with less stamina by doing a neutral 2.5 tiles below the spikes and doing a spike jump.
If both the surface and the side are spiked, you can still do a spike jump but you'll have to align it manually midair or use a wall to align yourself.
This map will feature a lot of places where midair alligned spike jumps will be required.
In tight spaces, it is hard to do jumps without hitting the spikes.
Crouching while jumping allows you to not bump your head against the ceiling and get over the spikes.
Crouch jumping is used for doing tight jumps and phasing through spinner gaps.
This map uses a lot of crouch jumping a lot, so I highly recommend you practice it!
Additionaly, because crouch jumping retains your chouching state for some time, you can scale walls with crouch jumping to fit through one tile gaps.

FW0DGYM4wind=
[GRANNY left normal]
With the wind pushing you towards spikes, you can jump off the spikes by looking away from them and pressing jump.
You can press multiple jump buttons for better consistency.
This works because spikes can't kill you if you are going the way you are facing.
This cannot be done with up wind, but it can be done with down wind from specific subpixels (this won't be used in the map).
The next spike related tech is abusing the state of the reforming blocks (core blocks, ice crumble blocks, move blocks, cassete blocks)
When a block reforms, you can grab, climbjump, jump off and stand on it even if the area is spiked.
This works because the blocks are getting regenerated before the spikes on them.
Therefore you have a small period of time when you the blocks don't have any spikes.
This reform tech is largely used in the map, with you having to time your jump exactly when the block reforms.
The final two pieces of spike tech used in this map are cornerkicks and coffee jumps.
Cornerkicks allow you to jump of the corners of the ceiling even if the side is spiked.
To perform it, do a crouh jump to get as close to the ceiling corner as possible, and after that jump again.
When performed correctly it will behave as an extra jump.
To perform a coffee jump, position yourself 1 tile below and away from the ceiling corner with the spike, press a directional key while holding grab.
Now, release it by pressing the jump button 2 times quickly, and you will be able to gain additional boost of the spike.
If you get confused whether the map requires to do a cornerkick or a coffejump, remember:
A coffee jump requires a wall for you to grab to, while cornerkicks are done without grabbing anything.
I reccomend practising cornerkicks a lot, since they will be used quite often in the map.

FW0DGYM5=
Momentum tech

FW0DGYM5intro=
[GRANNY left normal]
This map uses 2 common ways to gain additional momentum without dashing.
The first method is backboosting.
When you throw a holdable like a jellyfish, you get a momentum boost in the opposite direction.
We can use that to our advantage if we gain momentum, turn around and throw the jellyfish as we will gain even more momentum.
However, after backboosting you'll have to turn around very fast, or you will kill all of your momentum you got from the first boost.
It is quite tricky so try to backboost in as little time as possible so you get the most amount of momentum when you turn around.
Here, try to reverse super and backboost to get the berry.

FW0DGYM5doubleboost=
[GRANNY left normal]
Blockboosts are a second way to gain a boost from a zip mover or a kevin block along with the other boosts like wavedashing or wallbouncing.
While most ways to blockboost aren't possible without dashing, there are still some setups with bubbles you can use.
In the first example, you need to get some momentum from the traffic block, then get into the bubble and do a liftboosted hyper with the coyote frames.
In the second example, just hit the kevin and wallbounce with a second bubble.

FW0DGYM6=
Feather & Lava Tech

FW0DGYM6feather=
[GRANNY left normal]
Feathers and feather bounces are widely used in this map.
Here are a few tricks to make them easier:
1. Feather bounces
When you bounce from a shielded feather, you can get the maximum momentum up by jump the same time you bounce.
If you want to get the maximum amount of momentum in a direction, position yourself on a right/left side of the feather, and press the directional input during the bounce.
If you want to avoid getting thrown off the shielded feather, make sure to press directional inputs after the bounce depending on the angle the bounce throws you.
You can also use this information to do jelly regrabs with shielded feathers.
After some practice, you'll see that feather bounces aren't as random and uncontrollable as they look!
2. Feather mode
When entering a feather, you can smuggle a jellyfish and keep it.
After the feather mode ends you will still have the jellyfish with you.
You can also hit dash switches in feather mode if you smuggled the jellyfish.
This will be used in the map later on.
3. Feather navigation
When you are in feather mode and you need to go through a tight gap, it is better to position yourself 45 degrees from the gap before flying in.
This is the most consistent way for dealing with tight feather gameplay as the feather take a long time to turn around and go where you want it to go.
If you hold up when exiting a feather, you are given a slight boost upwards.
Sometimes you don't want to get it, in which case you shouldn't hold up when exiting it.
If you exit out of the feather while hitting a jump through, you can succesfully clip through it even if it is placed sideaways or upside down.
Finally, if you hit a wall/ceiling/floor while in feather mode you will bounce away from it.
That means that you can easily manipulate where the feather will go after hitting a wall/ceiling/floor.
You can use that to hit touch switches and bounce up with a specific angles.

FW0DGYM6lavaice=
[GRANNY left normal]
You can climbjump, neutral jump, wallbounce and jump off the lava and ice if you do the inputs early enough.
Because of the leniency of the inputs, you can perform all of the following things while being 4 pixels away from the lava/ice, which makes it possible.
For neutral jumping, make sure to jump early.
For jumping off the lava, make sure to buffer the jump for the best consistency.
Finally, for the climbjumps you just have to align yourself with the lava ice and spam them.
Bubble wallbounces don't need any explanation or tips as they are the same, but for normal ones you'll have to make sure to wallbounce 1-4 pixels from the lava/ice.

FW0DGYM7=
Buffer water jumps and stack them to get momentum!
