Hello {+MADELINE}.
In this map, your dashes have been split into 5 angles instead of 8. I call this new dashing system {#FF99FF}5EDD{#} (5 Equal Divisions of the Dash)
Warning: while the concept of {#FF99FF}5EDD{#} is new as of time of release, this map is by no means a gentle introduction to the idea. This map is {~}hard{/~}.
That being said, all that you need to know to beat this map (aside from the new controls) is how to wavedash and wallbounce.
The inputs to dashing in {#FF99FF}5EDD{#} are as follows:
To dash left, input a left dash or a down-left dash.
To dash right, input a right dash or a down-right dash.
To dash up-left, input an up-left dash or input an up dash while facing left.
To dash up-right, input an up-right dash or input an up dash while facing right.
For dashing downwards, the inputs are the same as in {#FF9999}8EDD{#}: just input a down dash.
That's all you need to know for now. Good luck and have fun!

casju0_starfish_wallbounce=
Wallbouncing in {#FF99FF}5EDD{#} is the same as in {#FF9999}8EDD{#}: dash upwards towards the wall then jump off it while you're still in a dashing state.
Note: the timing window for a wallbounce is shorter if you make contact with the wall during the dash.
So in order to achieve the maximum height, you should start your dash with some distance away from the wall.

casju0_starfish_wavedash=
Wavedashing in {#FF99FF}5EDD{#} is similiar to that in {#FF9999}8EDD{#}: dash towards the ground, then jump while you're still in a dashing state.
However, because of the lower angle, you have to dash closer to the ground in {#FF99FF}5EDD{#} than you would in {#FF9999}8EDD{#}.
If you jump too high and hit the ceiling, you dashed too high off the ground.
If you don't get your dash back, you jumped too early.

casju0_starfish_wallhyper=
You can also do hypers off of walls.
To do this, dash towards the wall, then jump off it while you're still in a dashing state.

casju0_starfish_miniultra=
To make this jump, you'll have to perform a mini-ultra.
The inputs for a mini-ultra are the same as a wavedash, however you start your dash higher off the ground.
If you don't get enough speed, you dashed too high off the ground.
If you get a wavedash instead, you dashed too close to the ground.
