# Tutorial NPC Textboxes

Various {# B07FFF}ind{#}{# FFFFFF}icat{#}{# 7F7F7F}ors{#} are used for guidance. They represent objects, spots to jump from, and spots to dash from, respectively.
Dark spikes will kill you if you are not in dash state.


LilyUIM_Exodus_b02_t1=
If you're inside a {# 32A852}dream block{#} as you enter a portal, you will be able to perform dream block techniques when you exit the destination portal.


LilyUIM_Exodus_d02_t2=
Normally, you can {# 32A852}Dream Jump{#} by either {~}buffering the input{/~} or jumping in {~}coyote time{/~}.
Buffering the jump input does not remove coyote time from exiting the dream block. As a result, you can jump twice out of a dream block.
This is called a {# 32A852}Dream Double Jump{#}.
It is highly recommended that you set two (or more) jump keybinds.

Similar to normal dream blocks, you can perform a {# 32A852}Dream Jump{#} into a down-diagonal dash for an {# 32A852}Ultra{#} with {~}reverse{/~} dream blocks as well.

You can also perform {# 32A852}reverse Dream Double Jumps{#}.

Wood blocks gives 5 coyote frames with 3 freeze frames.
Upon shattering one, they apply a {~}1.2x{/~} multiplier to your horizontal speed. This requires you to have sufficient speed when colliding with them.
Thicker wood blocks require more speed to shatter.
The act of successfully shattering a wood block as well as jumping is called a {# #BEBF6B}Wood Boost{#}, {1}or {# #BEBF6B}Woost{#} for short. This only applies to this map.
The {# 783E35}brown torches{#} will help indicate these {# #BEBF6B}Wood Boosts{#} when they are needed.

This portal will let you skip the room.

I'm not actually expecting very many to play it but this is mainly for myself.
As much as I generally suck at most things in my life... {0.25}cathartic, {0.25}in a way, {0.25}to finish this.
Well, that's not actually entirely true, the map hasn't been finished yet at the time of writing.
And for some credits...

Thanks for playtesting early on. Not much had been done at the time (less than 150 total hours so far) but you gave my map a go and that's cool :3

Well, I sorta get the feeling based on our interactions that they don't want to associate themselves with this map so .{0.1}.{0.1}. {0.1}fair enough, I don't think I would want to associate myself with this map either if I wasn't the mapper, but thank you for playing anyway!
